This may have been answered elsewhere, but whatever happened to Chris Huston? Wasn't he the news director at WSEE? Where is Chris right now?

Chris Huston moved over to WJET as ND for several years before taking a News Director position with a Nexstar station in Texas.

Thanks, Alan!

I am now back. I am glad the topic of 911 came up because it is one of the reasons why Congress, President and the FCC have mandated digital.

Any reading of the 911 commission report will tell you that one of the big problems was communications. Fire, police and other rescue workers could not talk to each other.

The freeing up of the wasteful analog band will allow uses in emergencies. So I am glad it came up.

I thank Alan and the other members of the staff watching the fort.

Chris Huston is one of the most arrogant, self-centered people I have ever worked for (and that's saying a lot, having worked in the local media for over 23 years!). The man has never had an original thought in terms of news coverage, and never "borrowed" an idea that he didn't proclaim to be his own.

Glad to have you back, Jack! Still unsure of who this Alan B. is but I think he did a fine job playing "the wizard" for a spell.
